Fundraiser
Jump for life is a fundraising group of people who do sponsored bungee jumps from well known landmarks in the North East of England to raise money for good causes. They have undertaken to do a sponsored jump to raise money for Carey's Bone Marrow transplant fund.

Carey was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia) during November last year and has been in a special care unit since December undergoing rigorous chemo therapy to tackle this rather aggressive form of blood cancer. We have been fighting for her life as her current diagnosis is bone marrow failure and the only alternative is for her to have a bone marrow transplant as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we were not able to find a suitable donor in South Africa and our search now needs to focus on possibly international donors. We have been working through the Bone Marrow societies and so far, initial findings have raised 2 potential donors in Germany! However, this is funding that we do not have and this is why we are appealing to you to support this JUMP FOR LIFE fundraiser. |
