In conjunction with Kelly Ramsay from the School Of Cooking, & The Baxter Theatre, we have a charity show to raise funds for Carey Boucher.
We have acquired a show on 3rd June 2008 with Mark Banks.
Tickets will cost R70 each (normal price R125).
Please Note: Tickets will be sold on a first come basis
Please support this effort, as all profits will go to the Carey Boucher Fund.

EDS - ST JAMES HOUSE 'INTERNATIONAL BUFFET'
An International buffet will take place in St James House on the 24th of this month. The idea is that people will bring food to share especially related to their country of origin.
RECYCLE MOBILE PHONES
Did you know that the average UK household has two unwanted or unused mobile phones.
The team at Carey’s Bone Marrow Fund are working alongside a company called Foneclub on a mobile phone recycling initiative which will raise funds to go toward this important Fundraiser.
The scheme is very straightforward, and Foneclub will pay £2.50 for any handset that is received from Carey’s Bone Marrow Team, regardless of age or condition. We are therefore asking you could kindly search the cupboards and drawers for those unwanted mobile phones and CONTACT us for details on how to send the phone to us.
Once we have finished running this collection we will receive a cheque from Foneclub within 10 working days, which will be put toward to this fund.
We do hope that you might be able to help with the collection, and thank you for your time.

EX PAT AND SOUTH AFRICANS WORKING IN THE UK APPEAL
This is an appeal to all South Africans (Expats and SA's working in the UK) to give sympathetic consideration in the decision to support Carey's Bone Marrow Fund.
Please consider donating £10.00 (or more) as this translates to almost R150 in South Africa!! Our target is R300 000 and all donations would be received with our utmost gratitude. Donations could be done via PAYPAL or our UK Bank Account, which I will give on receipt of a request from you. We have come up with plans to arrange an auction on items donated to us. At present, we are trying to source all kinds of donations for this purpose.

- Auction fundraiser evenings
APPEALS AT LOCAL PUBS AND RESTAURANTS
These prove to be very effective when an appeal is made on a particular evening of dedication and awareness of Carey's appeal.
